Nitrox is a mixture of Nitrogen and Oxygen which is not the usual air content. Nitrox Diving is about diving for a longer time. Diving with enriched air lets you stay underwater longer and get back into the water sooner. The program can be done in 1 1/2 to 2 days.

To participate in this program, you must be at least 15 years of age and a certified PADI Open Water Diver. You may also qualify if you are currently enrolled in a PADI Open Water Diver course.

You'll learn the procedures and preparation necessary to safely dive using enriched air.

Your dives will be under the indirect supervision of a PADI professional who is enriched air certified.

If you dive to 15 meters / 50 feet on air, you can gain up to 95 additional minutes of no decompression time by diving on enriched air rather than on air.

Successful completion of the course allows you to dive to a maximum of 30 meters / 100 feet using EANx32 within the no decompression limits of the air Recreational Dive Planner, depending upon your certification.
