Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest-growing international Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid training organization.

It's a medically based program covering both the primary care (CPR) and the secondary care (First Aid) courses. The program can be done in 1 day.

The course incorporates independent study to prepare you for a classroom and hands-on skill development session. You will learn the same patient care techniques used by medical professionals.

To participate in this program, there is no dive certification required and no minimum age limit.

Many divers take the Emergency First Response courses to meet the prerequisites to become PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster.

Most divers have found the Emergency First Response program to be very important. They feel confident to providing care should there be an emergency.
