Boracay Island is a tropical westernmost island in the Visayas, part of the town of Malay, in the province of Aklan.

It is located in the Western Visayas, on the northwestern tip of the much larger island of Panay, Region VI, in the Philippines. It is 345 kilometers south of Manila.

It is bounded on the north by the province of Romblon, on the northwest by the province of Mindoro, on the east by the main island of Panay, and on the west by Tablas Strait and Sulu Sea.
